When to power a system which technology we should choose, hydraulics, electrics, pneumatics, mechanics,…?

There is no simple answer, and more important there is no rule! The most important feature is to have completely clear the aim for the system and its operation conditions as well as the goal for the solution. In each case each technology advantages and disadvantages in the system should be clear identified and then a take a decision taken.
